I took part in my first Nello this year, completing the 100 mile route in under 6 hours! Very proud of this achievement and great to be part of something so important to help raise money for the Force Cancer charity.

The event is so well organised, with a great atmosphere and even better feed stations!!

Here's to the next one!!<< New image with text >>

So proud to have completed the 109 mile route on the Dartmoor Classic this year. it was a tough ride with a brutal headwind and I congratulate all that took part.

Looking forward to next year!!!

Tom & Liz post Exmoor Swim 2018  4km  - what a great event at Wimball Lake - we loved it xx

wow , what an amazing day for a ride up the Col d'Aubisque

Exeter Chiefs Cycling Club 2018 trip to Castre, for the Exeter European Cup match. An eventful trip with some amazing climbs up some Cols ! wow -

Lots of money raised for The Exeter Foundation (over £20,000) 31 cyclists with some excellent hard working support crew including Tony Rowe, Chair of the Exeter Chiefs -and David Cosford, the brains behind all the trips-  same we didn't get the win in Castre !

On our way to Castre, south of France, via Plymouth, Santander and the Pyrenees ! With a few bikes to fix along the way - but there is always time for cake !!

Team Mi-Space (Exeter ) about to leave the London Olympic Park cycling to Amsterdam for Prostate Cancer - Part of the Men United F2A 2018 (Football to Amsterdam) with other Football league teams.

I was pleased to be able to help out and see them off - next year more riders planned - and I shall ride with them too -

Not a bike you get to play with (fix!) every day . A triplet !! These guys were on their way to breaking the World Record, Lands End to John O'Groats - 3 Men on a bike.

Really pleased to have been able to help them - they smashed the record and raised lots of money for a couple of excellent causes- well done lads !

Martha completes a half marathon in memory of her father Geoff Bowen, our amazing friend whom lost his battle with a brain tumour. We will really miss this fun loving, wild, wine maker !

we didn't realise it would snow so much, I only popped out on my shopper with bananas & jelly babies ! Geoff would have loved this !! X X well done Martha, Angus, Mike and super runner Liz X

2017 European Rugby Cycle Challenge-Exeter to Montpellier. Nearly 700 miles in 7 days - it was a long way !! But amazing & a brilliant win by Exeter Chiefs.

Total raised so far for The Exeter Foundation is over £50,000. Thanks everyone for your support.

Another long distance cycle challenge for The Exeter Foundation.

This time Exeter to Belfast for the Chiefs European Challenge Cup game against Ulster in October 2016

Much better weather aided the 450 mile cycle. A lot less bikes to fix, which was a blessing. A very hilly Wales to Fisguard and stunning scenery up the East coast of Ireland made this an enjoyable challenge. Shame the Chiefs lost by one point ! Next time eh ?

Exeter Rugby European Cycle Challenge was just that !

Cycling to the European Cup tie in Bordeaux to see the Chiefs do battle on January 16th 2016

22 cyclists, including myself took on the 500 mile challenge leaving Sandy Park on Sunday the 10th Jan, with a support team of 4 others including Chairman Tony Rowe and his wonder bus "Doris" !

All this was to raise funds for The Exeter Foundation http://www.exeterfoundation.org.uk/ and between us we have raised well over £20,000.

We are not going to deny that the challenge was tough, through some very tricky conditions at times, but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of the whole team working together, to reach a cold but sunny Bordeaux on Friday 15th.

Fuelled by Jaffa Cakes and the now infamous Cheese & Ham Baguettes made by Tony, Logisitics by Col "Saunders" ( Nigel Brown !) saw us through the days.

Many punctures, brake changing, chain snagging etc etc we kept everyone on bikes to finish, I do actually feel a sense of achievement and still can't believe I rode the 500 miles, making new friends and raising funds along the way. At least a got a very comfy trip back on "Doris" - Thanks Tony for that.

We were pleased to support riders on the First Exe Cyclethon, with refreshments, on Sunday 13th September.

Sponsored by Wilkinson Grant in the community and Radio Exe, the family ride for Exeter City's Football in the Community & Dream Away charities was a big success. Riders started at Exmouth and cycled through Topsham to Exeter for the fun 13 mile ride. Paul Nero of Radio Exe was happy to announce that this will be an annual event which will grow and grow.

Pictured here is Julian Tagg from ECFC, Paul Nero joined with other Radio Exe Staff.

The 16th Nello Century Cycle Challenge took place on Sunday 28th June 2015.

Liz and friends, Doug Pestell from Petite Maison and Kevin Phillips, cycled over the roof of Exmoor in the 100 mile challenge for FORCE.

Wet and windy conditions didn't dampen the spirits, fuelled by fantastic cake stops ! The trio made the most of the hospitality on offer !

Well done to everyone completing the 55 mile and 100 mile rides. approx 1500 riders helped to raise a target of £90,000 for FORCE cancer charity in Exeter.
